Reno 8

Oppo updates its popular Reno series once or twice a year, so it’s no surprise that the Reno 8 range is here.

There are six phones – Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro, Reno 8 Pro +, Reno 8 Lite, Reno 8 Z and Reno 8 4G – but Oppo has remixed some features and names in different markets, so it doesn’t seem simple at first. Let’s break it down.

When will Oppo Reno 8 be released?

Oppo launched the Reno 8 series in China on May 23, and the phones went on sale from June 1. There are three phones: Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro and Reno 8 Pro+.

The series then begins on July 18 in India, marking the start of the global broadcast. This time, only two phones arrived: Reno 8 and Reno 8 Pro. Apart from the Reno 8 for India, it is slightly tweaked from its Chinese counterpart, and the Reno 8 Pro is actually the same phone that was launched in China as the Pro+.

There is also a Reno 8 Lite 5G launched in Europe, but it is actually a rebranded version of the Reno 7 Lite 5G. Launched in Thailand as Reno 8 Z 5G.

Reno 8 4G arrived in Indonesia in August, but was replaced again – in the original case Reno 7.

We have now confirmed that the line will launch in Europe on August 31, 2022 at 14:30 CET (Central European Time). So far Oppo has only announced the launch of the Reno 8 Pro, but it looks like there will be more models announced at the event.

Along with this, Oppo will also bring the Oppo Pad Air to Europe.
